CA. 1920's-30's? REPRINT CHROMOLITHOGRAPH FOR CALENDAR, WARD BAKING CO ADVERT

Description

I have received a few near mint chromolithograph designs, 16" X 20", intended for use on calendars, in this case portraying two young girls in bright colors, no damage, no tears or stains, no writing.  On the lower left quadrant you see the printing stating "Complements of Ward Baking Company, St. Louis Missouri".  The paper is a thin and pliable enough to be rolled for shipping. In the lower left corner it states "Printed in France". The printing technique includes dot matrix upon study under a glass, so I do not believe they were printed in the early 20th C, but reproduced sometime after, likely between wars, for use on calendars. This example is beautiful, full of color, delightful and innocent in appearance.  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
