    Well-known graphic artist, porcelain painter, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1962). Honored Artist of Russia.
    Born in Moscow, from 1941-1949 he was brought up in an orphanage. He studied at the art school in the city of Dulevo, Moscow region, specializing in porcelain painting (1951–1954), studied at the Moscow Higher Art and Industrial School (MVHPU, 1954–1960) under V. Egorov, N. Denisovsky, V. Kozminsky, S. Rodionova.
    Throughout his creative life, he successfully worked in the field of socio-political and spectacular posters. In the 1960s, the artist made posters demonstrating a negative attitude towards imperialist Western and American foreign policy (“Spying - do not dare! Today and henceforth!”, 1960; “Stop the killers!”, 1966). Created a significant number of political posters, including anti-war ("Neo-Nazism", 1985; "April 11 - International Day for the Liberation of Prisoners of Nazi Concentration Camps", 1985; "No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten", 1988).
    In the 1960s-1980s, Yefim Tsvik created posters dedicated to the key and leading role of the party in the USSR, party congresses, space exploration, public holidays and other popular topics. Collaborated with the publishing houses "Soviet Artist" and "Plakat". The author of the posters: “Get ready for the journey man!” (1960), “I dedicate my flight to you, XXII Party Congress! Cosmonaut Major Titov "(1961)," Communism will win! (together with O. D. Maslyakov, 1962), “Africa is bubbling ...” (together with Yu. V. Kershin, 1963), “These hands created everything in the world ...” (1963), “For the heyday of our Motherland!” (1965), “Our goal is communism!”, “Happy New Year, friends!”, “Party”, “We are already laying the foundation of a new building ...” (all -1966), “Let's preserve cultural monuments!”, “International Day solidarity of workers - May 1”, “Glory to the one who builds, walking with a song through the century! Glory to the creator-hero - the working man! (all -1967).
    Zwick performed a series of theatrical posters, including for the Leningrad State Academic Maly Opera and Ballet Theater (Eugene Onegin, 1971; Carmen Suite, 1971). Collaborated with the Mosconcert and the State Circus; author of film posters, spectacular posters and circus posters: “There once was a song thrush” (1972), “From the treasury of world musical culture. Talents of the Russian land. Fortress Art” (1974), “Pages of Love and Hate. Literary composition based on the works of M. Sholokhov” (1974), “Marta Tsifrinovich. Dolls. Mosconcert” (1975), “Porgy and Bess. Moconcert" (1975), "B. Brecht. Mother Courage and her children (1978), Wounded Wounds (1981), Intercircus. Poster of the Union State Circus" (1985), "Circus.     He worked a lot on a poster of a social orientation, denouncing lazy people, drunkards, bribe-takers and violators of socialist legality: “A bribe is shameful! It dishonors those who take, and those who are given!” (1960), “Losses of the village of Teteri” (1960), “Get rid of parasites from warm places!..” (together with O. D. Maslyakov, 1961), “Let's save cultural monuments!” (1967), "For health!" (1974).
    Collaborated with the Creative and Production Association AGITPLAKAT. The author of the posters: "...violators will receive a rebuff!" (1977), “... put into operation more capacious elevators for the harvesting campaign!” (1979), “Our rural builder Egor takes care of a new way of life...” (1979), “...we will not be held captive by shameful words, we will declare war on foul language!” (1979), “Other masters, apparently, are unaware that there is no need to drive the engine in vain ...” (1979), “... we will fulfill this year’s meat supply plan on time and in full!” (1979). Participant of the exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the association AGITPLAKAT (1981).
    In the 1990s, he continued to work on the poster, apparently wanting to remain at the forefront of the country's political life, he made several sheets of an opportunistic nature (“We believe that the people who have endured the bloody bacchanalia of Stalinism and the war against German fascism will not allow their own homegrown Nazis to authorities", "We swear to you, Comrade Lenin, that we will fulfill all your commandments with honor. Stalin", "We will not let it happen again", all - 1990). Author of the theatrical poster "Moscow Jewish Theater Shalom" (1991).
    Participant of almost all all-Union, republican, Moscow and foreign exhibitions. More than a dozen solo exhibitions of the artist took place in the USSR (1968, Krasnaya Pakhra; 1973, Tashkent; 1985, Riga; 1987, Gorky, Dubna, Zhukovsky; 1989, Moscow), Czechoslovakia (1981,1982,1984, 1985, 1986) and Russia ( 2000, 2001, Moscow).
    Posters by E. S. Zvik were repeatedly awarded prizes and diplomas of the Union of Artists of the USSR, the KhF of the USSR, the RSFSR, the Moscow Union of Artists, as well as for the best poster of the year. Winner of various prizes and awards: Bronze medal and third at the international poster biennale in Warsaw (1966), first prize at the all-Union competition for the 50th anniversary of October (1967), silver medal at the seventh international poster competition in Bologna (1968, Italy)
    iya), a prize and an honorary diploma at the Second International Poster Biennale in Warsaw (Poland), a gold medal and an award at the International Poster Exhibition in Sofia (Bulgaria), a bronze medal and an honorary diploma at the International Poster Biennale in BRNO (1970, Czechoslovakia). He was awarded the UNESCO Prize at the 6th International Biennale of Posters in Warsaw (1976), an honorary diploma at the 8th International Biennale in Warsaw (1980), an honorary diploma at the International Poster Exhibition "Golden Bee" in Moscow (1993), an Honorary Diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts (1996) .
