RARE FIND! FRENCH BULLDOG AND FRENCH POODLE DUBONNET APERATIF LIQUOR STORE ADVERTISING DISPLAY 1940'S
PYTRAM LTD from New Malden Surry England was known for its innovative moulding techniques and made advertising models for stores.
The company dates back to the early 20th Century.There is more information in Grace's Guide to British Industrial History.
This piece has retained its colors. There is a little paint loss on the corners of the base. The poodle has loss at the tip of her nose and on each shin.
The expressions on the faces are quite humorous.
The base is 7 x 6 x 1 3/8" high. The poodle is 5" tall and the bulldog is 4 1/2" tall. The whole display is 8 3/4".
A great collector's piece!
