. Here's how it works: the Quantum 600 includes a wireless transmitter that connects that to a USB port on your PC, Mac, or PS4. From there, it will send sound wirelessly to the headset — with no lag between the video and audio.
When connected to a Windows PC, you can even get JBL's simulated 7.1 surround sound processing. I've given this headset a test spin and it offers deep bass and clear dialogue. You also get all those distinct, contextual sounds that can draw you deeper into the gameplay.

These headphones feature the same large 50mm drivers found in all of the other Quantum headsets. JBL's special headphone sound signature has been honed by years and years of research and exhaustive user testing. Compatibility
The Quantum 600 headset also comes with a durable cable terminated by a 3.5mm miniplug for two-channel audio. So it will connect to the headphone jack at the bottom of your Xbox One or PS4 controller. You should be able to make the same type of connection on the forthcoming Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 controllers, based on the specs released by those companies.
